Derek Hasted writes "This power ballad makes a wonderful concert item for a Guitar Quartet or large ensemble - it has a big sound for surprisingly little difficulty.

My quartet has parts that increase slightly in complexity from bass to tune, so theres something for everyone here. The bass line is supplied in both treble and bass clefs, and the two parts are identical, so for a large ensemble, you can have one or the other or both in your performance.

Everything is comfortable to play, and my transcription is based closely on the official video from Chicago. I have changed the key very slightly so that the deep bass notes fit on the guitars bottom strings and the tune is placed comfortably on the neck. There are no page turns in the part score.

The music rises and falls as the song progresses, making the dynamics happen almost automatically. But there are plenty of opportunities in the phrasing to make this piece absolutely magical.
