Product Description

Whatll I Do?, composed in 1923 for The New Music Box Revue, with words and music by Irving Berlin, has been said to be autobiographical.  Perhaps so, this Great American Songbook standard, composed in the style of a waltz, has resonated with performers and audiences now for over a century. More often than not, Whattll I Do? is performed as a torch song ballad by a gifted chanteuse lamenting love lost.  However, the touching text is really a dialogue between the lover and his paramour, making it a conversation for two appropriately a duet.  This arrangement is scored for She (a soprano) and He (a baritone, baritenor or tenor) with piano accompaniment.  Performance time: 3:50+- A great addition to any Valentines Day program In Love/Out of Love.
