Product Description
This lovely lullaby is an Austrian carol from the 1800's. I built from the original by adding extra lyrics and changing up the melody slightly to the end of each verse. The lyrics are from We Three Kings, Silent Night and What Child is This. Each additional lyric ties into the verses of the song and adds an extension to the verse. This version has the verses broken up between the voices until the last verse. This is for String quartet and piano. It makes a great accompaniment for the SATB sheet music available to purchase on here.

Lyrics:
Still, still, still
One can hear the falling snow
For all is hushed
The world is sleeping
Holy Star its vigil keeping
Still, still, still
One can hear the falling snow
O star of wonder, star of night
O star with royal beauty bright
Still, still, still
One can hear the falling snow
Sleep, sleep, sleep
'Tis the eve of our Saviors birth
The night is peaceful all around you
Close your eyes
Let sleep surround you
Sleep, sleep, sleep
'Tis the eve of our Saviors birth
Round yon virgin, mother and child
Holy infant tender and mild
Sleep, sleep, sleep
'Tis the eve of our Saviors birth
Dream, dream, dream
Of the joyous day to come
While guardian angels without number
Watch you as you sweetly slumber
Dream, dream, dream
Of the joyous day to come
What child is this who laid to rest
On marys lap is sound asleep
Dream, dream, dream
Of the joyous day to come
Still, still, still
'Tis the eve of our Saviors birth
