Product Description

Praevius was commissioned by the voestalpine steel division and means "precursory" in the sense of the companys slogan.

Originally, the piece was composed for an overall performance of several wind bands at a difficulty level of 2.5 and a performance duration of about 3 min. The premiere of Praevius was in 2013 at the employees festival of the voestalpine in Linz with 5 voestalpine wind bands. Moreover, in 2014 the piece was performed at the district music festival of the Upper Austrian Wind Band Association by more than 900 musicians at the ceremony.

The PDF contains the score and all parts. The paper layout is actually designed for European A4 paper, but printing on 8.5 x 11 inches format has no effect on readability.
