Product Description
Yellow is the first movement of my first suite for concert band, Primary Colors. But it also stands as a piece on its own. This piece is meant to be a joyous, up-tempo piece to make you smile. Using minimalist elements and flourishes from the woodwinds I attempted to capture the sounds of the sun, games at recess, and the carefree fun of childhood. Yellow was chosen as a finalist in the Third Annual Frank Ticheli International Composition Contest. If you like this piece, check out the full suite, Primary Colors.
