This is the third of a three movement work I wrote for my sixth grade band. It followed a chat we had about how strange it would be if things were different colors, so I went with that when titling this work. When we performed it, the kids and I decided to perform it in the order 3 - 2 - 1. Do what works best for your kids. This movement is somewhat ominous sounding. It provides experience counting rest and independent section playing. It introduces percusion to the slapstick and the vibraslap. Hope you enjoy.
