About the Composer: Filippo Capocci (1840-1911) was a renowned Italian organist and composer. Born in Rome, he was a significant figure in the Cecilian Movement, which aimed to reform church music. He was the organist of the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran and a member of the American Guild of Organists.
