First transcription for solo guitar from this beautiful sonata not included in Kirkpatrick or Longo catalogue. Not difficult for the intermediate player. The manuscript AM2158 that contains this piece was discovered in the 80´s by the musicologist Bengt Johnsson in the library of the Escolanía de Monserrat (Barcelona). Scarlatti's authorship is not confirmed for sure by all experts, but, in any case, it is a beautiful piece, very expressive with a slow tempo that worth playing and listening to.
