Product Description

Beginner Violinists can here explore the new near position for their second finger. The Toon Collection just uses first and second fingers. The Weather Collection uses the third finger too (two!). 12 easy pieces, 6 or them depicting different weather. All have an accompaniment part in a separate book for the teacher playing a keyboard or the violin (or both !!!). This is Volume 6 in the nine volume series. All the music can be played with viola players, cellists and Double Bass players. This makes for sociable learning. All the Volumes in the Collections series can be used for individual or group tuition. The pieces are to stimulate the imagination. The download format is easy to read with larger print than many other books for beginners. The set of nine volumes (one is scales only), can also be bought together as a whole (66 pages) or in two parts. In the beginning the violin books concentrate more on the lower strings to enable compatibility across the instruments and it can sound less shrill to the worried parent!
