Product Description

Many years ago I set the following poem by Kenneth MacLeod to a melody for voice and guitar. This is a string quartet version of my setting, enhancing the mystery of the poem. I saw a stranger yestreen. I put food in the eating place, drink in the drinking place, music in the listening place, and in the sacred name of the Triune He blessed myself and my house, my cattle and my dear ones, and the lark said in her song often, often, often, goes Christ in the strangers guise. Performed by Violin 1: Csongor Veér Violin 2: Anna Fehér Viola: Péter Kondor Cello: Mátyás Ölveti of Budapest Scoring
