Product Description

"I Get Along Without You Very Well" is a popular song composed by Hoagy Carmichael in 1939, with lyrics based on a poem written by Jane Brown Thompson, and the main melodic theme on the Fantaisie-Impromptu in C sharp minor, Op 66, by Frédéric Chopin. Thompson's identity as the author of the poem was for many years unknown, she died the night before the song was introduced on radio by Dick Powell. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in many of our arrangements. We also implemented some pretty cool left-hand fills which we think you will like!

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
