Product Description

Drea's Accordes is an arrangement of a solo guitar piece, Air in the Dorian Mode, from my set of Diatonic Pieces where no accidentals are employed other than in the key signature. The Air has a distinctive Renaissance character. The arrangement was created to serve as incidental music for a production of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING by the Southern Shakespeare Company in Cascades Park in Tallahassee, FL in May of 2022. The title "Drea's Accordes" is in part a reference to my wife who played the violin part in that production, and in part a bit of word-play on "Drewrie's Accordes," a quasi-famous Elizabethan lute duet.
