Product Description

The most famous and recognizable fanfare of all time, Buglers Dream was adopted by ABC Television in 1964 to become the iconic musical Olympic Fanfare introducing decades of televised Olympic competitions and familiar to millions of listeners. This setting for eight B-flat trumpets can be enhanced by using optional flugelhorns for parts 5-8 to contrast against the brilliance of the trumpet 1-4 parts. A very accessible work for students and easily memorized, not only can it be an exciting fanfare for brass ensemble programs and special events but an impressive opening to band concerts featuring the trumpet section. The recording is by an actual trumpet octet.

See 50+ homogeneous brass editions for trumpet, horn and trombone ensembles and 75+ mixed brass ensemble publications with Charles Decker Music Press at Sheet Music Plus for inexperienced to advanced musicians with music ranging from the Renaissance to contemporary new works for trios, quartets, quintets, brass choir and brass band.
