On September 28th, 1781, George Washington oversaw a siege against the British, known as the Battle of Yorktown. Following a trip to Washington D.C., I wanted to write a short cadence that could capture the spirit of the rudimental drumming of the time.

This cadence would work well as a stand-alone cadence, an addition to a cadence series, or as a teaching tool for rudimental drumming.
