Product Description

This aria from Cantata 127 is originally for Soprano with obligato oboe and a small orchestra of strings, two recorders, and continuo. It is arranged here for oboe, violin, and piano. The oboe part is exactly as it is in the original, the violin takes the vocal line and the piano provides the accompaniment. The piece will work for chamber concert use and is especially good for use in church services. The Cantata was intended for the Sunday before Lent, but it will work well in any situation where a more somber mood is appropriate.
