This particular piece of music, upon which I have laid the title "Fade to Nothing", is a Romantic style piece of music that begins in a fairly strong and aggressive manner, and which becomes progressively slower and softer until the drawn out and dramatic ending of the piece. This expressive style of music is based off of the works of Romantic Era composer Frédéric Chopin, and considering this was authored and inspired primarily by the beautiful nighttime and her engulfing darkness, I deem it appropriate to call this my first "Nocturne", or night song. This piece is of an intermediate level of difficulty, something not suited for a beginner pianist, but something that an experienced musician should have no trouble making their own. This should be played with great expression and suited to fit the individual playing it, and the environment and emotion one wishes to convey through it.
