This beautiful arrangement of the "Hawaiian Wedding Song" is inspired by Elvis Presley's version as he sang it in the film 'Blue Hawaii'. Originally entitled; "Ke Kali Nei Au" (Waiting There for Thee), it was adapted from a 1926 love song written by Charles E. King. The song was recorded by Helen Desha Beamer, Bing Crosby, Andy Williams and others. It's sweet gentle melody, romantic lyrics and lovely harmonies make it a special song that is rarely sung and so it really stands out when our choir performs it at weddings.

Side note: This song is arranged by my wife Ronelle. She was the much-loved musical director of numerous Sydney choirs including Alchemy A Cappella and the quartet Vocalicious. Sadly, Ronelle died in 2022 from cancer but her music lives on through musicians like you. Thank you!
