Product Description
Three
Promises (flute or violin and organ or piano) is inspired by the writing of Paul of Tarsus in his
famous letter to the Christian church in Corinth, Greece in CE 53 -
57. Paul wrote this letter to encourage the new followers of Jesus,
mitigate conflicts that were emerging, and correct misunderstandings
in Christian teaching. In the passage addressing the attributes of
love (in Greek - Agapē:
the spiritual love between God and people),
Paul shares several analogies and summarizes his thoughts on the
nature of spiritual love: "Three things will last forever: faith,
hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love." (I Corinthians
13:13)
