Thirds & Fourths is an intermediate level study for solo classical guitar or finger style guitar. The musical motive with intervals of 3rds and 4ths moves through natural, harmonic, and melodic forms of minor. The contrasting B section uses intervals of 10ths (3rds displaced by 1 octave) descending and ascending through natural, harmonic, and melodic minor scales. The ending broken chord (arpeggio) for this study settles the piece's uncertainty in melodic minor.
