This Ouverture miniature is composed for junior band (Grade 1). Between a small introduction and a small coda, a dynamic Allegro with two themes allows all musicians to have fun. Duration: 1'45".
The band: flute, oboe, clarinets (2 parts), alto, tenor sax, trumpet, horn, trombone/euphonium, tuba, and a low woodwinds part (bassoon, bass clarinette, baritone sax) timpani (ad lib), side drum, per and mallets.
