Product Description

These arrangements are for performance and are very precise. "Every Breath You Take" is a song by the English rock band the Police from their album Synchronicity (1983). Written by Sting, the single was the biggest US and UK hit of 1983. Sting wrote the song in 1982 - " I woke up in the middle of the night with that line in my head, sat down at the piano and had written it in half an hour. It sounds like a comforting love song. I didn't realise at the time how sinister it is. I think I was thinking of Big Brother, surveillance and control." This famous song by the Police had its original guitar part played on a palm muted electric guitar but it works really well fingerpicked on an acoustic. There is a full explanation of the song's history and notes on how to play it included with the score, also separate parts for voice and guitar.
