This is the excerpt of the famous piano battle improvisation out from the Taiwanese film 'Secret'. It is based on the Chopin C#m Waltz scene (piano battle no. 2). A middle part is included which provides the piece a standalone 'party piece' quality, making it long enough for a performance in isolation without the requirement to play the Chopin Waltz excerpt before or after.

This piece is for intermediate to advanced level pianists. The stride left hand parts are quite accessible at lower speeds. Practise by slowly increasing the metronome, so that the tempo can be maintained comfortably.
