Product Description

The two pieces in this set, "Waltz" and "Lullaby" were composed in 1994 for Jerry Young, who gave the premiere performance that year at Webster University in St. Louis, MO.

"Waltz" is scored for unaccompanied tuba and, except for tempos and dynamics, is a palindrome.

"Lullaby" features polychords and shows off a large range for the tuba. A subtle reference to the well-known "Lullaby" by Johannes Brahms can be heard in this piece.

Individual parts are included.
