Cj Rhen

Cj Rhen is a composer, producer, youtuber, mix and mastering engineer, trumpet player, and sax player. Cj's expertise lies within big band composition and arranging and has an emphasis on original music and film and tv covers. Cj has done commissions with a variety of organizations such as the Singapore Jazz Association and the Mon Valley Academy of the Arts. In addition to his work as a composer, Cj has been recognized as the outstanding studio recording engineer at the graduate level recognized by the Downbeat Magazine Student Music Awards awarded for various albums produced in 2023 and his original releases. Cj teaches lessons in composition, Dorico, and production online while all in person lessons and performances are based around the Morgantown, WV and Pittsburgh, PA region.
