Dr. Arthur Field is a conductor, arranger, pianist, and educator with a lifelong passion for bringing symphonic Pops to life. He served for 12 years as Music Director of the Carolina Pops Orchestra, where he conducted Broadway, rock, and cinematic crossover concerts throughout the Southeast. He is the Executive and Music Director of the Florida Pops Orchestra, a professional ensemble based in St. Augustine, Florida.

Dr. Field studied conducting under Dr. Thomas Joiner at Furman University, and made his orchestral debut with the Greenville Symphony in Dvořák’s New World Symphony. He studied orchestral arranging with Jay Bocook, with whom he later collaborated on numerous Pops and marching band pieces. He has appeared as guest conductor with both the Susanville Symphony and the St. Augustine Orchestra.

A Ph.D. holder and longtime member of ASCAP, Dr. Field is a former board member of the International Conductors Guild and spent over 20 years producing large-scale private events through Epic Entertainment DJ. His arrangements are noted for their energy, cinematic texture, and performer-friendly design.
