Kevin Cincotta-Guest is an award-winning contemporary a cappella producer, arranger, engineer, and educator, along with being a singer-songwriter and the bass singer for the professional R&B/Soul/Pop band,
Ball in the House. Kevin is also an official voting member of
The Recording Academy (
Class of 2023), participating in the voting process for THE GRAMMYs®.
Kevin started his music career by receiving a Bachelor of Music in Combination with an Outside Field in Media Communication (B.M.) from the
Ithaca College School of Music. At Ithaca, he had the distinct pleasure of being a four-year member in the award-winning a cappella group,
Ithacappella.
Based just outside of Boston, MA, Kevin have given numerous workshops and master classes all around the continental United States. His arrangements and work in the recording business have been placed on GRAMMY® First Round Ballots, and won and been nominated for multiple
Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA), along with appearing on several prestigious compilation albums, such as SING,
Best of College A Cappella (BOCA), and
Voices Only. As an arranger and performer, he has also gained
regional and
national recognition at the
Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival.
Outside of time with Ball in the House, Kevin is a Substitute Teacher/Paraprofessional Educator in the Westborough Public Schools (Westborough, MA, U.S.A.), a Virtual Coach for the
A Cappella Education Association, and a Delegate Officer of the Ithacappella Alumni Association.
Outside of music, Kevin enjoys reading mystery/suspenseful and thriller books, taking trips to Old Orchard Beach, ME, U.S.A, playing Nintendo Switch and a variety of board/deck building games, refining his Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game skills, and spending time with his wife and 1.5 year old son.
