Max Stannard Music

Max Stannard is an award winning composer and arranger. He has written for many configurations of instruments, in particular British brass band and brass quintets. Max studied music at Lancaster University, gaining a first class honours degree, and this is where he first began writing and arranging music. Whilst there, he also began conducting orchestras, wind bands and brass bands, which he has continued to do across the North West of England. In 2018 Max won the competition to write the Brass Fest UK Anthem, Into the Future, and in 2024 he won the Red Admiral Entertainment Contest's award for best new arrangement. Max has made many arrangements of popular music for brass ensembles hoping to bring brass programmes right up to date.
