Adrian Sebastian Werum
Adrian Werum is the original music director of Roman Polanski's "Dance of the Vampires" and premiered it in Vienna / Austria and on Broadway starring Michael Crawford.
He also orchestrated for the same show as well as for many orchestras in Europe: "Baden-Baden Philharmonic", "Deutsches Symphonieorchester", "Orchestra of the City of Prague", "RIAS-Tanzorchester"and "SWR-Bigband"
He was acting as music supervisor for Frank Wildhorn's "Carmen" in Prague, "Tears of Heaven" in Seoul and "Count of Monte Cristo" in St. Petersburg.
In 2010 he founded the "Orchester der Kulturen - World Symphony" , a world-wide unique orchestra combining classical and ethnic instruments from all over the world.
He reached number one and the top ten of the German classical music charts with several albums of his orchestra.
In 2024 he originated the new show "China-Girl", based on the music of David Bowie and toured with a band of his orchestra in the german speaking countries.
He received the "Ernst-Fischer-Prize" of German Public Radio and the "Manfred-Rommel-Award" for the cross-cultural work of his orchestra.
Other Broadway shows as MD include: "Mamma Mia", "42nd Street", "Grease" and "Beauty and the Beast".
Since 2012 he is composer in residence at the Park Avenue Synagogue in New York City.
For his musical "Hollywood Diva" he received the prestigious "Golden Mask Award" as the best new russian musical in 2014.
