Dean Alan Nichols

Dean Alan Nichols is a pianist, teacher, and arranger in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  He has been on the faculty at Chattanooga State Community College since 2001, and performs frequently in the Chattanooga area as a soloist and collaborative musician.  He has been principal keyboard for the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra since 2003, and has appeared with them as soloist.  Dr. Nichols has served as an adjudicator for the Chattanooga Music Teachers Association, the Southern Adventist University Concerto Competition, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Piano Arts Competition, and many other festivals and competitions.  He serves as pianist for Dalton First United Methodist church, often performing original arrangments of well-known hymns.
