The Audition Cut

Audition cuts end up being a major part of any actor's career -- from school and community theatre to the professional world -- but deciding how to cut down a song isn't always straightforward. We've taken some of the guesswork out of the process by creating audition cuts for musicals that you can use in any of these settings. These versions all range from around 1-2 minutes in length (the rough equivalent of the somewhat arbitrary 16-bar or 32-bar cut) and have been meticulously and cleanly engraved so that your audition pianist will have no problem reading them!
