A lifelong supporter of the arts, particularly community ensembles, Foster is the Scenic City Community Orchestra conductor in Chattanooga, TN. He was one of the founding members of the High Plains Music Ensemble in Strasburg, CO, where he was the associate conductor under Kurt Eliott. He was also the associate conductor of the Mile High Community Band in Denver, CO, under Mike Lucas. Foster also serves as the worship pastor at Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church.
