C. Scott Hagler

C. Scott Hagler began accompanying choirs and soloists in his early teens, and conducting and arranging not long after. He is recently retired from a 45-year career in church music, where he conducted choral and handbell groups in all age ranges, played the piano and organ, and is credited with building many church-music programs and bringing life to sagging music ministries. Scott earned his Kodály certificate in the 1980s and has remained involved in, and an advocate for, public-school music programs. He collaborates with Kodály teacher trainer Rochelle Mann. He taught piano and organ throughout his career.
