Ricardo Stevens Music

Ricardo Stevens (b. 1983) was raised in Woodville, CA, where the renowned band director Mr. Glen Gilden captivated him, prompting his musical education in the fourth grade. He graduated from Woodville Elementary School District in 1997 and developed a newfound passion for music under the careful guidance of Mr. Dale Anderson in Porterville, CA. Mr. Anderson taught Ricardo a variety of musical styles over the course of four years. He completed his education at Monache High School in 2001.

He pursued music education at California State University, Fresno, where he studied under Dr. Lawrence P. Sutherland, Dr. Gary P. Gilroy, and studied advanced trumpet with Dr. Michael Caldwell. Furthermore, Ricardo oversees his own music publishing company, Ricardo Stevens Music, LLC. He creates creative compositions and arrangements for the music education market, specifically targeting small rural community schools at the early middle school level. He gets many yearly commissions.

He is currently working at Terra Bella Union Elementary School District in Terra Bella, California. He resides in Porterville, CA with his wife Cassandra and their five very spoiled kids.
