Annette was a musician in H.M. Forces. She is currently organist and Director of Music and organist at St Mary's Parish Church, Barnard Castle, U.K. where she runs a thriving Community Choir and Community Orchestra.

Aside from playing, teaching and conducting she also enjoys composing, arranging and transcribing music mainly for organ, vocal groups, brass and instrumentalists. Annette has had organ sheet music published by Tim Knight Music and Organ World in addition to brass band compositions published by Larch Music.
